Jordan Shapiro is an amateur photographer who resides with his fiancee on the upper east side of manhattan. his father, mark, received his degree in photography from the art center college of design in california and instilled the art in his son from an early age.

Jordan's first artistic subjects were live performers, musicians in venues large and small. he received credentials for guster and the jazz mandolin project, among others.

as Jordan finished college and began to travel more extensively, he began to focus on documenting life and the landscapes of destinations both common and relatively unexposed.

Jordan is currently shooting with a nikon d80 and uses a nikkor 24-120mm lens as his primary choice. Jordan does not utilize flash or ISO boost in any of his photography.
